Job summary

Muldoonspub is seeking an experienced Line Cook for morning shifts to join our restaurant and bar team in a fast-paced kitchen. Shifts begin at 7am on Saturdays and Sundays, and 8am Monday to Friday. You will prepare high-quality dishes with consistency and pride in guest experiences.

Qualifications

• Must be legally authorized to work in the U.S. and 18 years or older.
• Experience in a high-volume restaurant kitchen preferred.
• Ability to lift heavy objects and stand for long periods.
• ServeSafe or California Food Handler Certification (or willingness to obtain).
• Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask in a fast-paced kitchen.
• Knowledge of food safety practices and proper kitchen techniques.
• Effective communication and teamwork skills.

Responsibilities

• Prepare fresh ingredients and menu items according to recipes and restaurant standards.
• Cook dishes accurately and efficiently, ensuring consistency, quality, and proper temperatures.
• Operate kitchen equipment safely and responsibly.
• Maintain sanitation and cleanliness of work surfaces, serving areas, and storage containers.
• Monitor ingredient freshness, rotate stock, and track inventory to maintain quality standards.
• Respond to guest feedback with professionalism and urgency.
• Complete opening, side work, and closing duties to prepare the kitchen for service.
