Ravensworth Baptist PDO Preschool is seeking an Early Childhood Lead Teacher for 2 to 3-year-olds in Annandale, VA. You will create a safe, nurturing, and stimulating environment and develop age-appropriate lesson plans to foster social, emotional, cognitive, and physical growth while partnering with families.

The role requires 1–2 years of lead or assistant teaching experience in licensed childcare, CPR/First Aid certification, and ability to pass background checks.

Qualifications

• Minimum Education: High School or Equivalent.
• CPR and First Aid certifications required or willingness to obtain prior to start date.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills to collaborate with staff and families.
• Must be able to clear Virginia state background checks and fingerprinting processes.
• Doctor certification and negative TB test are required.

Responsabilités

• Observe and adhere to the designated hours from 9:00 a.m. to 1:45 p.m.
• Design and implement a play-based curriculum for 2–3 year olds.
• Assess and document each child’s developmental progress and share updates with parents.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized classroom in compliance with Virginia licensing standards.
• Guide children through positive behavior and support milestones such as potty training and self-help skills.
