Job summary

Hyatt Place Hyatt House Indianapolis Downtown is seeking an AM Steward for a part-time role. In this kitchen support position, you will promptly sort soiled ware, wash and replace items, and help maintain clean dish areas to support our culinary team.

You should have at least a high school diploma and six months of dishwashing or steward experience, plus knowledge of safe chemical handling. This role requires reliability and the ability to work with minimal supervision in a fast-paced hotel

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Six months experience as a dishwasher, utility or steward.
• Knowledge of safe chemical and equipment handling.

Responsibilities

• Sort soiled ware for the dish machine.
• Wash ware and replace in storage areas.
• Maintain dish areas and ensure machines operate properly.
• Clean floors and trash areas; keep cafeteria tidy.
• Follow sanitation laws and safety standards; review MSDS.
