Job summary

Benjamin Rose in Cleveland, OH seeks a reliable kitchen helper to support grab-and-go and congregate meal programs. You will receive, prepare, package, serve, and clean up meals while maintaining a clean, organized dining and kitchen area.

Work hours are 7:00 am to noon, Monday through Friday, with an emphasis on food safety and timely service. Training may include ServSafe practices and standard kitchen procedures.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Previous experience in food service.
• ServSafe certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Receives, counts and signs off on caterer's invoice.
• Cleans and maintains kitchen and equipment to meet food safety standards.
• Completes daily, weekly, monthly, and quarterly reports as required.
• Prepares and serves refreshments for participants as needed.
• Cleans and maintains participant dining room.
• Stores, heats and serves meals according to caterer's specification.
• Packages home delivered meals according to caterer's specification.
• REPORTS TO AND EVALUATED BY: Center Director
