Job summary

Diversified Maintenance is hiring a Janitor to perform all-purpose cleaning and preservation inside a building or multiple client sites. The role requires flexibility to adapt to client specifications and a commitment to quality cleaning standards.

Responsibilities include floor care, restroom upkeep, window cleaning, trash disposal, and following the prescribed housekeeping schedule. On-the-job training is provided for those with limited experience.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent or six months of janitorial experience.
• On the job training will be provided.
• Attention to detail and ability to follow instructions.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and clean all floor surfaces by sweeping, mopping, scrubbing, or vacuuming.
• Follow procedures for chemical cleaners and power equipment to prevent damage.
• Clean, monitor and maintain restrooms, meeting rooms, corridors, and entrances.
• Empty trash and use compactors as required.
• Clean windows, glass partitions, and mirrors with appropriate cleaners.
• Spot clean carpets and assist with carpet extractions/shampooing.
• Replenish paper products and sanitary supplies.
• Follow housekeeping schedule.
• Occasionally use heavy cleaning equipment like floor scrubbers and buffers.
• Other duties as assigned per client scope or needs.
