Job summary

Healthcare Services Group (HCSG) seeks a dependable Housekeeper to maintain a clean, safe environment in a long-term care facility. You will support residents and staff by delivering consistent cleaning and sanitation, following established procedures.

Bring a positive attitude, the ability to lift up to 50 pounds, and the flexibility to work weekdays or weekends as needed. Prior housekeeping experience is preferred but not required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Previous housekeeping experience is preferred but not required.
• Maintain a positive attitude and communicate effectively with building occupants, administration, and leadership.
• Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for extended periods.
• Must follow safety and infection control procedures.

Responsibilities

• Perform daily housekeeping tasks, including cleaning resident rooms, bathrooms, common areas, and offices.
• Ensure proper cleaning and sanitation following established procedures and safety guidelines.
• Maintain records of cleaning activities and report maintenance or safety issues.
• Follow infection control and universal precautions policies to ensure a sanitary environment.
• Interact positively with residents, staff, and guests, providing excellent customer service.
• All other duties as assigned.
