Job summary

Mass General Brigham is seeking a shuttle bus driver for a part-time schedule at 80 Blossom Street. The role runs Monday through Friday from 5:15am to 10:45am, totaling 27.5 hours per week, onsite with CDL endorsement requirements.

Responsibilities include operating shuttle/coaches, maintaining logs, ensuring passenger safety, and coordinating with dispatch for detours or delays. A high school diploma is preferred, with DOT medical card and passenger/end endorsements required.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or Equivalent preferred.
• Ability to obtain a DOT medical card.
• CDL with Air Brake and Passenger Endorsements required.
• Excellent driving skills for shuttle buses and coach-type vehicles.
• Attention to detail and accuracy in record-keeping and documentation.
• Excellent customer service skills.

Responsibilities

• Operates shuttle bus and/or passenger coach-type vehicles.
• Adheres to assignments in accordance with scheduled shuttle routes.
• Reports to the Supervisor of Transportation.
• Provide safe, courteous, and professional service to passengers while en route.
• Communicates with dispatch for guidance on detours/delays.
• Operates vehicles in accordance with Fleet Safety Program Policies and local laws.
• Maintains a log documenting passengers, trips, mileage, inspections, and other data.
• Ensures adherence to passenger limits.
• Assists passengers with disabilities to board/disembark via wheelchair lift.
• Reports emergencies/concerns to Supervisor/Dispatcher.
