Job summary

Mississippi Department of Employment Security is seeking a Food Bar Attendant – In-Plant in Ecru, Mississippi. You will assist in food preparation, service, and maintaining a clean dining area during a morning shift.

This part-time position requires standing for most of the shift and lifting up to 38 lbs, with duties across cooking, prep, cash register, catering, and stocking. Join our team to deliver friendly service and quality meals.

Responsibilities

• Operate cash register during peak times.
• Assist in preparation of hot and cold sandwiches, salads, and hot meals.
• Assist in preparing entrees and desserts for serving line.
• Washing utensils, pots, and pans from food preparation.
• Put away stock received onto the pantry, into the freezer or cooler, and onto wire shelving.
• Remove hot food in steam pans from oven and place on steam line.
• Clean counter tops, wash floors, and maintain kitchen and serving areas in clean and sanitary condition.
