KNXV-TV in Phoenix seeks an experienced Executive Producer to lead the morning news team, overseeing content across platforms and shaping stories that wake up the Valley. Qualifications

  • BS/BA in related discipline preferred or equivalent years of experience.
  • Generally, 8+- years of experience in related field preferred.
  • Generally, 5+ years previous new producing experience preferred.
  • Prior managerial experience preferred.

If you're ready to lead the morning news team at one of Phoenix's most trusted news sources, KNXV, The E.W. Scripps' ABC affiliate, is seeking an experienced Executive Producer to oversee our morning newscasts and shape the stories that wake up the Valley. WHAT YOU'LL DO:
  • Manage newscasts or local program content and showcasing across multiple platforms.
  • Collaborate with editors, producers and/or the assignment desk to select stories for coverage.
  • Oversee and edit the writing of content, including but not limited to teases and web headlines.
  • Develop and manage effective workflow strategies and procedures for multiple programs.
  • Manage pre-production to ensure quality and ethical standards and coordination between control room and design staff.
  • Fill in as a line producer when needed.
WHAT YOU'LL NEED:

  • Flexible work hours may be required, including holidays, weekends and evenings
