Job Summary/Basic Function: Serve as local host of NPR’s “Morning Edition” and creator of the BSPR weekday podcast “The Connector.”
Assist in daily reporting, news planning and editing. Stays atop daily local and national news through multiple sources. Selects and rewrites stories for air. Edits scripts for accuracy, timeliness and proper usage. Arranges newscasts, billboards and other on-air content including reporting and producing two-ways for show. Presents content live on-air in an authoritative and conversational manner that connects with local listeners.
