Qualifications

• Previous experience with children is preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Provide a safe, nurturing, and positive environment for all children in the classroom.
• Supervise children at all times and follow safety and licensing requirements.
• Plan and participate in age-appropriate activities supporting development.
• Build positive relationships with children and respond to individual needs with patience.
• Maintain a clean, organized, welcoming classroom environment.
• Follow daily classroom schedules, routines, and center policies.
• Communicate respectfully with parents, families, and coworkers.
• Assist children with daily routines including meals, toileting, handwashing, and rest periods as developmentally appropriate.
• Observe and document children's development and progress.
• Collaborate with teachers and administration for high-quality care.
• Attend staff meetings and professional development.
• Maintain CPR/First Aid certification or complete within required timeframe.
