Job summary

Greencroft Communities in Walnut Hills is seeking a Culinary Services Aide for the morning shift on a full-time basis. You will help wash, prep, and set up dining areas while supporting a friendly culinary team serving older adults in our community.

No prior kitchen experience is required; training will be provided. The role offers an hourly wage and the opportunity to grow within a nonprofit focused on elder care.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Washing and sanitizing dishes, utensils, cookware and other kitchen equipment.
• Maintaining a clean and orderly dishwashing area.
• Assisting with simple food preparation including washing and cutting fruits and vegetables.
• Preparing salads, desserts and other basic food items as directed.
• Setting up dining areas for resident meals.
• Transporting food dishes, carts and supplies throughout the community.
• Cleaning work areas and removing trash and other waste.
• Restocking supplies and keeping commonly used items available.
• Following food service sanitation, infection prevention and safety procedures.
• Working alongside culinary team members to keep meal service on schedule.
