Visiting Angels Hillsborough, NJ is seeking a Morning CHHA to support clients at home, ensuring safety, dignity, and well-being. The role involves traveling to clients’ homes in the Hillsborough area to provide personal care, mobility aid, and assistance with daily living tasks.

Expect an hourly, per-diem position with no guaranteed minimum hours and no supervision responsibilities, working under a registered nurse.

Qualifications

• Valid certification as a Home Health Aide (HHA) licensed by the New Jersey State Board of Nursing.
• HHA Certification reimbursement available after 90 days.
• High School Diploma or Equivalent.
• Drivers preferred.
• Ability to observe patients accurately and respond promptly to health changes.
• Compassionate attitude with good communication; able to work independently and as part of a team.
• Physical stamina to assist with mobility tasks and caregiving duties.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct care including personal care and grooming.
• Assist with ambulation and mobility.
• Perform with special procedures as directed.
• Handle homemaking, meal preparation and light housekeeping.
• Support with other activities of daily living.

Morning CHHA

Visiting Angels Hillsborough, NJ is looking to add a caring, compassionate Morning CHHA to our team. A Morning CHHA works in support of the client’s safety, dignity, well-being and ability to remain living at home. Our office in Hillsborough provides Certified Caregivers for the local area including Belle Mead, Edison, Piscataway, Somerset, and many others.

A Morning CHHA travels to the client’s home to provide direct care including but not limited to:

• Personal Care and Grooming
• Ambulation
• Special Procedures
• Homemaking, Meal Preparation, Light Housekeeping
• Assistance with other Activities of Daily Living

A Visiting Angels Morning CHHA works under a Registered Nurse, and there are no supervision responsibilities with this position. The CHHA has HIPAA restricted access to certain client information, and is an hourly per-diem, non-exempt Direct Care staff member with no guaranteed minimum number of hours per week.
