Qualifications

• Be at least 18 years of age.
• Have a high school diploma or GED.
• Have verifiable caregiving, personal-care, home-care, CNA, senior-care, or related experience.
• Be CPR/First Aid certified or willing to obtain certification as required.
• Have a valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.

Responsibilities

• Assistance with showering, bathing, dressing, and grooming.
• Medication reminders within the caregiver’s permitted scope.
• Mobility and transfer support as outlined in the care plan.
• General safety and fall-prevention awareness.
• Monitoring the client during personal-care activities.
• Observing and promptly reporting changes in condition.
• Maintaining a clean and safe care environment.
• Following the established client care plan.
• Completing required electronic visit verification and shift documentation.
• Communicating concerns promptly to the Helping Hearts office.
