Job summary

Right at Home Fremont is hiring compassionate caregivers to support clients in the Hayward/San Leandro area with personal care, mobility assistance, and companionship. Flexible 4–10 hour shifts with weekly pay and mileage reimbursement.

Training and ongoing education are provided to help you grow in your role within a supportive team. Qualifications include a minimum of 3 months caregiving experience and an active California HCA license.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 months caregiving experience.
• Active HCA License with valid PER ID with State of California.
• Genuine compassion for older adults.
• Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English.
• Must pass background check and TB screening.
• Reliable transportation is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Assist with personal care (bathing, grooming, toileting).
• Support mobility and transfers.
• Provide companionship and emotional support.
• Help with meal prep and light housekeeping.
• Remind clients to take medications.
• Drive or accompany clients to appointments or errands.
• Monitor and report changes in client conditions.
• Follow personalized care plans and communicate with team as needed.
