Job summary

The College of St. Scholastica is seeking a motivated Housekeeper to maintain clean, safe, and welcoming spaces for students, faculty, and staff. You will perform routine cleaning in classrooms, offices, restrooms, and common areas, following established procedures and safety guidelines.

This full-time role requires the ability to work 5:00 a.m. to 1:30 p.m., stand for long periods, lift up to 50 pounds, and collaborate with the Buildings and Grounds team.

Responsibilities

• Clean and sanitize restrooms, classrooms, offices, and common areas.
• Operate cleaning equipment such as vacuums, floor buffers, and carpet cleaners.
• Restock supplies such as paper towels, toilet paper, and soap.
• Report maintenance issues or safety hazards to the appropriate personnel.
• Maintain a professional and courteous demeanor when interacting with students, faculty, and staff.
