Job summary

Ivy Hospitality is seeking a Breakfast Attendant to ensure a positive guest experience during breakfast service by preparing and presenting food in a clean, organized environment and delivering exceptional service while upholding health and safety standards.

You will greet guests warmly, monitor inventory, coordinate with other departments, and assist with daily tasks to maintain a welcoming atmosphere that reflects the company’s high hospitality standards.

Qualifications

• Education: High school diploma or equivalent education preferred.
• Experience: No prior experience required, but hospitality experience is a plus.
• Basic knowledge of food and beverage operations and standards.
• Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
• Knowledge of health regulations related to food service and sanitation.
• Stand for up to 8 hours; lift up to 50 lbs; bend, stoop, squat and stretch as needed.
• Food handler’s permit required if mandated by state law.

Responsibilities

• Assist in preparation, cooking, and presentation of breakfast items per recipes.
• Greet guests warmly and maintain a welcoming atmosphere.
• Keep service area clean; clean tables and stations; follow health codes.
• Ensure items are stocked and available; adhere to hours of operation.
• Monitor deliveries; ensure portion control and quality.
• Uphold health department regulations and sanitation standards.
• Inspect storage, cleanliness, and inventory rotation.
• Assist with daily/weekly/monthly inventory to minimize waste.
• Collaborate with other departments for smooth service delivery.
