Job summary

Morrison Healthcare, a Compass Healthcare company, is hiring immediately for temporary Baker positions at Barnes Jewish Hospital Commissary in Saint Louis, MO. You will prepare breads, pies, cakes, and pastries according to recipes and production sheets, with a Sunday–Thursday shift from 5:00 am to 1:30 pm.

The role requires at least 1 year of baking experience; prior production kitchen work is a plus. This is a temporary schedule with a path to permanent placement based on performance.

Qualifications

• 1 year of baking experience required.
• Previous production kitchen experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Bake breads, pies, cakes, cookies, and other pastries as needed according to production sheets.
• Assist in production planning to meet daily requirements.
• Maintain sanitation and proper presentation and food safety during preparation.
• Complete production records including waste tracking and shortages; inform supervisor when supplies are low.
• Ensure proper serving temperatures and equipment cleanliness.
