Job description

We are looking for caregivers to help care for clients (mainly fragile, ill, disabled, and/or elderly), one-on-one, in their homes. Are you a master of TLC (Tender Loving Care)? Do you have a black belt in cheering up even the grumpiest of grannies? If so, we want YOU to join our squad as a Caregiver!

Job Title: Chief Happiness Officer (aka Caregiver)

Location: Wherever the magic happens – our clients' homes!

Pay: $15.25 per hour for 4+ hour shifts, $16.25 for 3-hour shifts, $17.25 for 2-hour shifts

Responsibilities:

• Assist clients with daily activities, spreading smiles and positivity.
• Provide companionship, listen actively, and serve endless cups of tea.
• Deliver compassionate, personalized care ensuring comfort and dignity.
• Help with activities of daily living like bathing, dressing, and grooming.
• Offer emotional support to patients and families, creating a nurturing environment.
• Prepare simple meals or edible creations in the kitchen.
• Handle household chores and errands with finesse.
• Keep spirits high with jokes and laughter.
• Provide care that even Mary Poppins would admire.

Requirements:

• 18 years of age or older.
• Valid driver's license and vehicle.
• Willing to drive up to 30 minutes to clients' homes.
• Ability to pass a criminal background check.
• Excellent communication skills with empathy and active listening.
• Understanding of end-of-life needs and challenges.
• Ability to create memorable moments and find humor in tough situations.
• Willingness to learn and become a professional caregiver, including STNA, HHA, MA, PCA, or other relevant roles.
