Appalachian Community Services is seeking a MORES Therapist to provide community-based crisis intervention, assessment, and ongoing therapy for youth facing acute mental health or substance use crises. This full-time role emphasizes rapid response, care coordination, and collaboration with schools, hospitals, and law enforcement to connect families with needed services.

The position offers administrative support, supervision opportunities based on licensure, and a comprehensive benefits package

Qualifications

• Master's degree in social work, counseling, psychology, or a related field is required.
• Licensed or board-eligible/provisional (LPC, LPA, LMFT, or LCSW) is required or eligible.

Responsibilities

• Provide individual, family, and/or group therapy sessions.
• Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation.
• Collaborate with care teams as needed.
• Maintain compliance with clinical and regulatory standards.
• Participate in supervision (if applicable based on licensure).
