The Mopar Performance Product Development Engineer role at Stellantis leads the design, development, validation, and launch of aftermarket performance and accessory products across Stellantis vehicle platforms.

The position drives suspension, air induction, exhaust, lift kits, and vehicle dynamics enhancements while coordinating with suppliers, CAE teams, testing organizations, and cross‑functional partners.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in mechanical or automotive engineering or related field.
• Minimum 5 years experience in product development for automobile.
• Experience in product development and manufacturing process.
• Design, Functional Integration analysis.
• Knowledge of vehicle regulatory specs and requirements.
• Good Knowledge in GD&T concepts & Change Management.
• Vehicle suspension system and vehicle architecture knowledge.
• Component level & system level testing knowledge.

Responsabilités

• Design, develop, and release Mopar performance and accessory products for chassis, suspension, and powertrain applications.
• Develop high‑performance air induction and exhaust systems for aftermarket applications.
• Design and develop suspension lift kits, lowering kits, wheels, axles and other off‑road products across Stellantis platforms.
• Lead off‑road development trips and other marketing events such as SEMA, Easter Jeep, Toledo Jeep fest.
• Define required chassis and suspension components based on package studies, suspension travel analysis, and vehicle dynamics requirements.
