Job summary

MDSI Medical Services seeks a Psychiatrist or Psychologist to perform Mental Health Status Evaluations as an Independent Contractor. Exams are for individuals applying for Disability Benefits through the Social Security Administration.

Flexible scheduling is offered with 4-6 week planning, and liability insurance is provided. Evaluations occur in our clinics with MA support staff and templated reporting to ensure SSA compliance.

Qualifications

• Licensed mental health professional in California.
• Experience performing Mental Health Status Evaluations is preferred.
• Ability to complete objective evaluations for SSA determinations.

Responsibilities

• Conduct MHSE exams and brief record reviews for SSA disability determinations.
• Prepare accurate reports using provided templates and adhere to guidelines.
