Endocrine Center Houston is seeking a Moonlighting Endocrinologist for part-time, on-site clinical care across its Houston locations. Fellows in their first or second year will gain future endocrinology experience while the center covers malpractice insurance.

The role involves patient consultations, diabetes and endocrine disorder management, and collaboration with a multidisciplinary team, with duties including documentation and education as needed.

Qualifications

• Clinical expertise in Endocrinology and Diabetes management, including diagnosis, treatment, and long-term follow-up.
• Working knowledge of Medicine and Cardiology as they relate to endocrine disorders, metabolic syndromes, and cardiovascular risk in patients with diabetes.
• Current MD or DO degree with completion of an accredited residency in Internal Medicine or Pediatrics and fellowship training in Endocrinology.
• Active, unrestricted medical license in the United States (Texas license or eligibility required) and board certification or board eligibility in Endocrinology.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary team and provide clear patient education.
• Commitment to evidence-based practice, ethical patient care, and maintaining up-to-date knowledge in endocrine and diabetes management.

Responsibilities

• The Moonlighting Endocrinologist will provide part-time, on-site clinical care at Endocrine Center Houston in the United States.
• Day-to-day responsibilities include conducting patient consultations, managing diabetes and other endocrine disorders, adjusting treatment plans, and interpreting relevant laboratory and diagnostic results.
• The clinician will collaborate with the existing care team, document encounters accurately in the medical record, and ensure continuity of care across the center’s three locations as needed.
• Additional duties may include providing patient education, supporting quality improvement initiatives, and participating in case discussions or interdisciplinary meetings.

( This is for fellows in their first and second year of fellowship who are becoming future endocrinologists . We will cover malpractice insurance . We are looking to do this a few times during the week and on weekends (depending on the doctors' schedules). )
