Job summary

The Aerospace Corporation seeks a Moonbase Test and Evaluation Facility Senior Engineer (Senior Project Engineer- Technical Project Management) to lead test and evaluation facilities for Moonbase programs at NASA Johnson Space Center in Houston, TX. The role blends facility operations, safety, and program integration to support NASA missions.

You will manage V&V testing, coordinate with NASA Moonbase Mission & Systems Interoperability, and ensure readiness of assets and environments for lunar

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science degree in engineering or related STEM field.
• 10+ years of progressive professional engineering/scientific experience including facilities management and safety oversight.
• Experience engaging with US government leaders and managing visits/engagements with senior stakeholders.
• Knowledge of NASA program life cycle and milestone reviews; coordinating across teams.

Responsibilities

• Manage Moonbase test and evaluation facilities and capabilities at NASA/JSC.
• Coordinate with NASA Moonbase MSI and stakeholders to meet test requirements.
• Ensure safety compliance with NASA, OSHA and internal standards; lead safety protocols for suits, robotics and large equipment.
• Lead test preparation, scheduling, and reporting; coordinate facility readiness reviews and inspections.
• Provide facilities and infrastructure for suited and robotic testing across Moonbase scenarios.
