Job description

GENERAL FUNCTION:

• This position must help clean and disinfect the facility and fitness floors per the daily task list sheet.
• Assist in laundry operation as scheduled at the front desk.
• Assist with inventory reporting to the Director.
• Check locker rooms for towels and help maintain the cleanliness.
• Assist the MSRs when needed at the check in computer.
• Communicate maintenance/housekeeping concerns to Membership Director.
• Have high awareness of suspicious characters or activities in the locker rooms, group ex rooms or fitness floors.

KNOW-HOW:

• High school education, or equivalent
• CPR and First Aid certification must be complete within first 60 days (paid by YMCA)
• Must complete online trainings within first 30 days (paid by YMCA)
• Good communication and interaction skills
• Ability to handle a variety of situations with a friendly and genuine demeanor following our CORE values.
• Time management and responsibility of your scheduled shifts and availability.
• Knowledge of YMCA programs and services.
