Job summary

MOO is seeking a press operator in our East Providence facility to run Konica Minolta and HP presses, manage print quality, and perform routine maintenance with minimal supervision.

You will contribute to lean manufacturing processes, use company software to track tasks, and collaborate with a manufacturing team to meet production schedules. A strong work ethic, good communication, and willingness to work overtime, including weekends, are essential.

Qualifications

• Must be able to stand for the full shift, lift up to 55 pounds, and bend or twist as needed.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills to assist others as part of a Manufacturing team.
• Demonstrates good time management, high concentration, and willingness to work overtime, including weekends.
• Ability to troubleshoot press issues and coordinate with service technicians for minor repairs.

Responsibilities

• Operate Konica Minolta and HP presses, monitor print quality, perform routine maintenance, and manage substrates with minimal supervision.
• Process and produce MOO products as directed.
• Utilize MOO manufacturing software systems to manage production tasks.
• Produce work following LEAN manufacturing principles.
• Follow supervisors' instructions and assist others in facility functions.
• Maintain workspace to 5S standards.
• Maintain and repair presses according to Konica Minolta and HP certifications.
• Send files electronically to presses and organize work per schedule.

Job description

Our press operators run either HP or Konica Minolta presses which include managing print quality, routine maintenance and following production processes and managing substrates with minimal supervision. You'll be apart of the larger Manufacturing team in our East Providence facility.

We welcome all types of people but to succeed in this role, there are four things we really need.

• Physical fitness
  No need to be a CrossFit champ, but you will need to stand for the whole shift (except meal and rest periods of course), move and lift up to 55 pounds and be able to bend or twist at the waist and knees.
• People skills
  We’re a real team, so you’ll be a good communicator and keen to help out and assist others when needed.
• Good work ethic
  Without you, there is no MOO. So, to keep our customers thrilled, we need good time management skills, high levels of concentration and a willingness to work overtime - including during the weekend when customer demand requires it.
• Mechanical Aptitude
  Machines can be a bit quirky sometimes and you will need to be able to trouble shoot issues and work with service technicians to do minor repairs to the press.

• Operation of Konica Minolta presses and HP presses, which includes, but is not limited to managing print quality, routine maintenance and following production processes and managing substrates with minimal supervision
• Process and produce MOO products as requested and/or directed
• Ability to utilize MOO business software systems for manufacturing
• Produce work in accordance with LEAN manufacturing principles
• Follow instructions of supervisors and assist other workers in performing facility functions
• Maintain work area to 5S standards
• Maintain and manage repairs as outlined according to Konica Minolta level certification and HP level certification
• Send files electronically to press organize work according to schedule
