Peak Ave Montessori in Morgan Hill is seeking a caring and energetic Toddler Assistant Teacher for ages 18 months–2.5 years. You will work with our Lead Guide to support daily classroom activities and Montessori-based experiences, helping toddlers develop independence and early communication skills.

• Experience or strong desire to work with toddlers.
• Warmth, patience, energy, and enthusiasm in the classroom.

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Understanding or eagerness to learn about toddler development and daily care routines.

Responsabilidades

• Support daily classroom activities and Montessori learning experiences with the Lead Guide and teaching team.
• Assist with individual and small-group activities to foster independence, language development, curiosity, and confidence.
• Supervise and support children during activities, outdoor play, meals, rest periods, and transitions.
• Assist with toileting, diapering, handwashing, dressing, and personal care routines with patience and respect.
• Help children develop emotional regulation and early social interactions.
• Prepare classroom materials and maintain a clean, organized, safe, and welcoming learning environment.
• Support hands-on experiences such as gardening, cooking, art, music, and sensory exploration.
• Build warm relationships with children, families, and fellow educators.
