Qualifications

• Education: Targeted, job related education with study in job-related area.
• Equivalency: 48 college credits OR paraeducator assessment.
• Requires Valid Driver’s License & Evidence of Insurability.
• 10-20 hours of staff development annually.

Responsibilities

• Assists lead Montessori teacher to establish and maintain a peaceful classroom environment.
• Escorts children to the bathroom and assists with changing clothes as needed.
• Collaborates with teacher on daily routines to support student well-being.
• Communicates observations to lead teacher to support student academic success.
• Maintains documentation for students on caseload for compliance.
