Job summary

Great River School in Saint Paul, MN seeks a Speech/Language Pathologist Assistant to provide educational speech-language services under a licensed SLP, within the Special Education Department. This full-time 1.0 FTE position supports elementary and adolescent students in a Montessori and IB environment.

Qualifications

• Associate or bachelor’s degree as specified.
• Demonstrated knowledge of current best practices in SLP.
• Ability to work in a multi-disciplinary team.
• Excellent time management, flexibility, and independence.
• Interest in elementary and adolescent students.
• Willingness to attend Montessori training and workshops.

Responsibilities

• Assist with speech language and hearing screenings as directed.
• Document student performance and assist with assessments.
• Prepare materials and schedule activities; maintain equipment.
• Collect data for quality improvement.
