The Lead Preschool Teacher is responsible for creating and maintaining a safe, nurturing, and engaging Montessori learning environment for children aged 3-5 years. The Lead Teacher plans and implements developmentally appropriate Montessori lessons, fosters each child's independence and confidence, supervises classroom staff, and maintains positive relationships with families while ensuring compliance with all state licensing regulations and school policies.

Key responsibilities:

• Prepare and maintain a clean, organized, and inviting Montessori classroom.
• Develop and implement AMI/AMS-inspired Montessori curriculum and daily lesson plans.
• Present Montessori materials individually and in small groups according to each child's developmental needs.
• Observe, assess, and document children's progress and plan individualized learning experiences.
• Foster independence, concentration, respect, and self-discipline through Montessori practices.
• Maintain accurate attendance, daily records, and classroom documentation.
• Promote children's cognitive, social-emotional, physical, and language development.
• Encourage practical life, sensorial, language, mathematics, cultural, and creative activities.
• Guide children using positive discipline techniques and respectful communication.
• Ensure children are supervised at all times and maintain a safe learning environment.
• Support toilet training and self-help skills when appropriate.
