Qualifications

• 2-3 years of early childhood education experience or related education.
• Bachelor's degree in Child Development or equivalent experience.
• State-required qualifications to supervise a group of students alone.
• Director First Aid and CPR extended hourly certificate.
• DSS Comp 1 and 2 for Directors.
• Must be at least 21 years of age.

Responsibilities

• Customer service: meet Head of School responsibilities guiding infant and primary students.
• Create a prepared environment with identifiable routines and transitions.
• Montessori principles: apply Montessori philosophy in daily practice.
• Manage daily schedule and model routines for students.
• Assist Lead Teachers with training development and Montessori program advancement.
• Maintain a safe, clean, and compliant learning environment.
• Support parent relations and communications and participate in events.
