Montessori Academy of Broward (MAB) is seeking a dedicated educator to substitute for the regular teacher, ensuring uninterrupted learning experiences for students. The role emphasizes implementing lesson plans, maintaining orderly routines, and safeguarding a supportive classroom culture.

The successful candidate will communicate effectively with colleagues, adapt to various age groups, and assist with additional duties as needed. Experience in early childhood education is preferred.

Qualifications

• Passionate about early childhood education; innovative and positive.
• Bilingual preferred; English required.
• Effective oral and written communication skills.
• Proficiency in educational technology is preferred.
• Collaborative practitioner who works well with colleagues.
• Must be able to lift 50lbs.
• High school graduate with relevant experience.

Responsibilities

• Deliver effective classroom instruction in the absence of the regular teacher.
• Execute lesson plans, activities, and classroom routines as outlined.
• Maintain a structured, safe and respectful classroom environment.
• Manage student behavior according to school policies.
• Monitor student well-being and report concerns to administration.
• Adapt to various classroom settings, grade levels, and subjects as needed.
• Perform additional duties to support school operations.
