Rooted in the authentic Montessori philosophy, our school celebrates each child as a unique learner—empowered to grow at their own pace in a supportive, prepared environment. Here, creativity, independence, and joyful exploration are at the heart of everything we do.

We’re growing—and we’re looking for a passionate, dedicated Primary Lead Teacher (ages 3–6) to join us for the 2025–2026 school year.

Who We Are

Nestled in a charming neighborhood campus, our private school serves children ages 2–14. With thoughtfully designed classrooms, peaceful outdoor spaces, and wooded trails, our campus is a vibrant and nurturing place where children thrive—academically, socially, and emotionally.

Who You Are

You’re a Montessori-trained (or Montessori-curious!) educator with a heart for early childhood and a deep respect for each child’s developmental journey. You know how to cultivate wonder, guide independence, and build community in the classroom. You're committed to working collaboratively with families and colleagues, and you’re excited to help shape a program that honors both tradition and innovation.

What You'll Do

As our Primary Lead Teacher, you will:

  • Create a joyful, inclusive, and intellectually rich classroom rooted in Montessori principles
  • Develop and deliver engaging lessons and hands-on experiences tailored to the needs of individual learners
  • Foster social-emotional growth through grace, courtesy, and meaningful relationships
  • Guide students in the use of Montessori materials and thoughtfully observe their progress
  • Prepare comprehensive student reports and maintain accurate records
  • Communicate with families with warmth, clarity, and professionalism
  • Lead, mentor, and collaborate with classroom assistants and floaters
  • Ensure a safe, beautiful, and organized learning environment
  • Accompany and support students during field trips and school activities
What You Bring
  • A Bachelor’s Degree (required); preference for Education, Early Childhood, or related fields
  • Montessori Primary Certification (ages 3–6) from a MACTE-accredited program is strongly preferred
  • Experience teaching in early childhood education
  • A love of children, strong communication skills, and a team-oriented spirit
  • Ability to engage physically in an active classroom setting
What We Offer
  • A welcoming, mission-driven community that feels like home
  • A beautiful environment that inspires creativity and calm
  • A team of passionate educators committed to lifelong learning
  • Competitive compensation based on qualifications
  • Full-time employees are eligible for benefits
