Job summary

Montessori School of Silicon Valley in Santa Clara, CA is seeking a Primary Preschool Classroom Teacher (Ages 3–6) to grow into a Montessori Lead Teacher. You’ll join a close-knit team, observe children, and collaborate with families as you develop your Montessori practice.

You’ll receive mentorship, support to pursue Montessori certification, and a clear pathway toward becoming a Lead Guide in an authentic Montessori environment.

Qualifications

• At least 12 ECE units completed.
• Experience with children ages 3–6; Lead Teacher experience preferred.
• Genuine interest in Montessori education.
• Desire to pursue Montessori Primary (3–6) certification.
• Strong organizational skills and professional attitude.
• Patience and reliability; supports independent learning.

Responsibilities

• Help create a peaceful, engaging Montessori learning environment.
• Support children as they build independence, confidence, concentration.
• Collaborate with Head of School while developing your Montessori practice.
• Observe growth and communicate with families and colleagues.
• Model kindness and grace and gradually assume leadership responsibilities.
