Job summary

British American Household Staffing seeks a fully remote? no, in-home night nanny in Atherton, CA for two school-aged children. The role requires Montessori training, fluency in English and another language, and experience in a fully staffed household.

The nanny will provide sleep and awake care in a 6pm–6am or 7pm–7am schedule, support homeschooling, and integrate Montessori philosophy into daily activities while collaborating with the rest of the caregiving team.

Qualifications

• Montessori training/certification is required.
• Fluent English is required.
• Fluency in at least one additional language (Spanish, French, Italian, or German) is expected.

Responsibilities

• Provide engaging, attentive, and developmentally appropriate care.
• Support the children's homeschool routine and daily learning.
• Incorporate Montessori principles into daily activities and interactions.
• Foster language development through consistent communication in an approved language.
• Plan enriching educational, creative, and age-appropriate activities.
• Maintain routines that encourage independence, confidence, and curiosity.
• Collaborate effectively with parents and household staff.
• Travel with the family as needed.
• Assist with child-related organization and maintain tidy children’s spaces.
