Job summary

Creative Montessori Academy, part of Choice Schools Associates, seeks a Montessori Instructional Coach to mentor teachers and advance Montessori practices. You will model Montessori methods, observe classrooms, and support guidelines to promote independence, student agency, and ongoing school improvement.

Ideal candidates will bring strong Montessori credentials, Michigan certification, and experience coaching in public Montessori settings.

Qualifications

Must hold a valid Michigan teaching certificate.
Demonstrated experience as a K-8 Montessori educator.
Formal Montessori training or certification required.
AMI/AMS credential is preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

Serve as the primary coach for Montessori pedagogy across all experience levels.
Guide teachers in creating orderly, inviting Montessori environments.
Support integration of state standards within the Montessori framework.
Conduct regular classroom observations and provide actionable feedback.
Train staff to maintain consistent Montessori practices school-wide.
Participate in leadership discussions and mentor new educators.
Collaborate with curriculum teams to ensure aligned student supports.
