A well-established Montessori education provider in Richmond, Virginia is seeking a Montessori Enrichment Team Member to deliver quality lunch, nap, and afterschool programming for students. The ideal candidate must have strong communication skills, two years of classroom experience, and preferably a bachelor's degree. This role involves maintaining a clean environment, supervising children, and preparing progress reports. The school offers professional development and benefits including paid time off.
The Montessori Enrichment (ME) Team Member is responsible for all aspects related to delivering quality lunch, nap & afterschool (Extended Care) programming for the students under the ME Team member's charge, utilizing the best principles and practices based on the Montessori tradition of education. The ME Team member conforms to all Virginia Department of Education regulations and policies while maintaining programming that reflects our mission and the core Montessori philosophy of respect for the individual learner, preparation of the environment, fostering independence, order, and concentration in the student, respect for sensitive periods, recognizing intrinsic motivation, and the absorbent mind.
CPR/First Aid certified (RMS will cover training and certification costs)
Minimum of two years classroom experience with students at class level assignment. A bachelor’s degree and experience in a Montessori setting is preferred.
Experience with licensed childcare program standards and working with children is beneficial.
