Qualifications

• Must be at least 16 years of age with a work permit.
• Must meet all DLARA BCHS requirements.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for long periods.
• Ability to communicate professionally with students, staff and guardians.
• Exemplary work habits verified by reference check.

Responsibilities

• Coordinates assigned age-appropriate activities for developmental growth.
• Keeps classroom neat and orderly to support learning.
• Collects and displays materials for bulletin boards and displays.
• Uses resources to support learning in the Academy and the community.
• Works cooperatively with guardians.
• Guides children in harmonious play and learning.
• Monitors safety and fosters positive learning environment.
• Supports leadership and participates in policy development.
• Contributes to marketing the Academy in the community.
