Montessori School of Denver (MSD), located in beautiful Colorado, is seeking a Montessori Certified Upper Elementary Teacher for the 2026-2027 school year. The position is set to begin in August 2026.
Job Overview: Elementary teachers work with a co-teacher to promote classroom community, deliver Montessori lessons, create and sustain a beautiful classroom environment, support the individual and collective needs of the students, communicate and partner effectively with parents, and work collaboratively with the other members of the program team and faculty. MSD teachers are expected to actively support the mission and values of the school and contribute to a positive school culture, as well as participate in school events, parent education, and on-going professional development.
About Our School: MSD provides an engaging, empowering, and sound Montessori educational program for students ages 2-14. Our school is accredited by the National Association of Independent Schools (NAIS), the Association of Colorado Independent Schools (ACIS), and the American Montessori Society (AMS).[1] Founded in 1964, MSD is the oldest Montessori school in the Denver metro area. In 2015, MSD completed a comprehensive multi-million-dollar expansion plan to complement its existing facilities.
