Montessori Discovery School is seeking a 6-12 (or 6-9) Montessori credentialed teacher to join our 6-12 Elementary classroom.

Description

Montessori Discovery School is looking for a Montessori-trained 6-12 teacher to lead our 6-12 elementary class. We are looking for a person who enjoys working in a small school with a welcoming staff and engaged parents and students. Authentic Montessori education, effective communication, and personal growth are important parts of our commitment to children and adults at MDS. A sense of humor is always a plus.

Located in beautiful southeastern Connecticut, MDS is a breath of fresh air from the busy city life. Our wetlands and fields provide outdoor explorations for our students as well as a home for our llamas and chickens. Children and staff learn to care for our environment and our animals while gaining independence through our Montessori curriculum.
