Montessori Certified Preschool Teacher

This position will start as an assistant floating teacher during the current 2024-2025 school year, to be a lead teacher 2025-2026 school year based on the candidate's experience.

Requirements:

1. AMS/AMI Montessori Certification for ages 2.5-6 or other MACTE credentialed Montessori certification.
2. At least 1 year of experience working in a Montessori classroom.
3. A love of working with children is a must.
4. Patience, caring, and kindness are required traits.
5. BA in any field, Early Childhood Education preferred.
6. CPR/First Aid certification.
7. Able to lift a child approximately 40 lbs. several times daily if needed.
8. Physical ability to sit on the floor with children when needed.

Job Type: Full-time, 8:00am to 4:00pm (As a lead teacher, to start will be Part-Time and hours will vary). Pay is based on experience and education.
