Job summary

Montessori Unlimited is seeking an Assistant Teacher to support the Montessori Guide or Lead Teacher in our early education classrooms. In this role you will help create an authentic Montessori environment, observe and plan age-appropriate activities, and communicate with families under guidance.

You’ll complete extensive in-service training that deepens understanding of child care and development. Join a welcoming, collaborative team and help prepare children for future learning in a community

Qualifications

• Experience in a licensed child care center, Montessori school, or related field.
• Completed a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Met state requirements for education; additional school requirements may apply.
• Montessori training, certification, or experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist in all classroom areas under supervision.
• Support the Montessori Guide or Lead Teacher and facilitate learning experiences.
• Observe, assess, and plan activities for children and communicate with families.
• Complete extensive training on child care and development topics.
