Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• 1+ years’ experience in a licensed childcare facility preferred.

Responsibilities

• Ensure the safety and supervision of children ages 16 months – 6 years.
• Assist and support the lead teacher with supervision of children in the classroom.
• Work with individual and small groups of children as directed by the lead teacher.
• Create a rapport with the children and guide them through self-directed activities.
• Maintain open lines of communication with parents to answer questions.
• Responsible for the care and maintenance of the classroom, teaching materials and equipment.
