Job summary

Guidepost Montessori Katy is hiring an Assistant Guide for a part-time role from 1pm to 6pm, Monday–Friday. Join a supportive, purpose-driven environment where you help nurture independence, confidence, and a love of learning in toddlers.

You’ll assist in maintaining a calm classroom, support small-group activities and build warm relationships with children and families. We offer Montessori diploma training, professional development, tuition discounts, and competitive hourly pay.

Qualifications

• Experience working with children ages 0–6 in a school or childcare setting.
• Positive, adaptable, and collaborative mindset.
• Genuine love for working with young children.
• Interest in learning and growing within the Montessori approach (prior Montessori experience welcome but not required).

Responsibilities

• Observe children closely to understand and support their individual needs.
• Help prepare and maintain a beautiful, orderly classroom environment.
• Support individual and small-group learning activities.
• Build warm, respectful relationships with children and families.
• Collaborate with Lead Guides and fellow team members to create a strong classroom community.
