Job summary

Guidepost Montessori is hiring Assistant Guides for our Copper Hill school. In this role, you’ll support a mixed-age Montessori classroom (Infant, Toddler, and Children’s House ages 0–6), helping children develop independence, confidence, and a lifelong love of learning.

You’ll observe, prepare learning spaces, and facilitate individual and small-group activities, building warm relationships with children and families, while collaborating with Lead Guides.

Qualifications

• Experience with children ages 3–6 in a school or childcare setting.
• Positive, adaptable, and collaborative mindset.
• Genuine love for working with young children.
• Interest in Montessori learning; prior Montessori experience welcome but not required.
• Child Development background with 12 core Early Childhood Education Units.

Responsibilities

• Observe children to understand and support their individual needs.
• Prepare and maintain a beautiful, orderly classroom environment.
• Support individual and small-group learning activities.
• Build warm, respectful relationships with children and families.
• Collaborate with Lead Guides and fellow team members to create a strong classroom community.
