Qualifications

• Must have at least 3 Early Childhood Education units and in process of completing up to 9 more units.
• Experience working with toddlers (18 months–3 years) in a childcare or preschool setting.
• Understanding of child development and positive guidance techniques.
• Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• CPR/First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain).
• Patient, kind, and nurturing.

Responsibilities

• Support the lead teacher in maintaining a safe, nurturing, and engaging classroom environment.
• Assist with daily routines such as meals, diapering, toileting, and transitions.
• Guide children using positive language and model appropriate behavior.
• Prepare, clean, and organize classroom materials in alignment with Montessori practices.
• Communicate with the lead teacher and families to support each child’s development.
