Job summary

Kingsley Montessori School in Boston is seeking an enthusiastic After School Program Teacher to support our P3–Grade 6 classrooms and teach after school programs. This part-time role operates from 2:00 to 6:00 PM, Monday through Friday, with occasional evening or weekend events.

You will plan age-appropriate activities, maintain classroom spaces, collaborate with teachers, and help develop after school, vacation, and summer curricula while supporting program operations before and after school

Qualifications

Bachelor’s Degree preferred or close to completing it.
Prior experience working with children and/or in education.
Ability to work collaboratively in a school community.
Commitment to meeting the needs of each child.
Interest in Montessori pedagogy is a plus but not required.

Responsibilities

Planning age-appropriate curriculum and activities.
Maintaining classroom spaces.
Implementing safety protocols.
Collaborating with teachers for continuity between classrooms and the After School Program.
Assisting with after school, vacation, and summer program curricula.
Supporting school operations before and after school hours.
Administrative duties when necessary.
