Job summary

Ohana in Monterey, California is seeking a Child & Adolescent Psychologist to provide psychological assessment, diagnosis, and treatment for children and adolescents within our behavioral health programs. This hospital-based role combines direct clinical care with program development and collaborative work with a diverse clinical team.

The ideal candidate holds a doctoral degree in psychology, an active California license, and experience in inpatient or outpatient child/adolescent services.

Qualifications

• Doctoral degree in psychology (PhD or PsyD) required.
• Current, unrestricted California Psychology License.
• Experience with children/adolescents in behavioral health settings preferred.
• BLS certification required.

Responsibilities

• Provide individual, group, and family therapy services.
• Conduct psychological assessments and diagnostic evaluations.
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans.
• Participate in interdisciplinary treatment team meetings and collaborate with clinicians.
• Support crisis intervention and behavioral stabilization efforts.
• Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation.
• Contribute to program development and prevention initiatives.
• Meet a minimum productivity standard of 25 patient-facing hours per week.
