Job summary

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Provides nursing care within scope of practice and adheres to standards and policies.
• Participates in Quality Improvement Program implementation.
• Uses Quality Life Manual to identify and monitor patients in programs.
• Notifies Departments of patient changes (room changes, LOA, admit, discharge).
• Conducts family and patient education.
• Administers medications timely and per facility policy.
• Administers treatments timely and per facility policy.
• Receives, transcribes, and carries out physician orders as allowed by Nurse Practice Act.
• Makes rounds with physicians as needed.
