A leading organization is seeking a MEL Principal Technical Advisor to provide expert technical support in Monitoring, Evaluation, and Learning for global health projects. The role involves developing MEL plans, mentoring staff, and ensuring data-driven decision-making. Candidates should have extensive experience in global health MEL, strong analytical skills, and proficiency in both English and French. This position is fully remote, offering a competitive salary and comprehensive benefits.
This position provides expert MEL (Monitoring, Evaluation, and Learning) technical support to a portfolio of projects in francophone countries.
Please note that spoken and written French and English proficiency are required for this position.
As a member of the home office Strategic Information (SI) MEL team, the MEL Principal Technical Advisor (PTA), provides leadership for project support, business development, and MEL strategic priorities. Under the leadership of the home office MEL Lead, the MEL Principal Technical Advisor provides technical expertise in all MEL functions and for technical areas such as supply chain, pharmaceutical system strengthening, health system strengthening, health facility services, and universal health coverage. Responsibilities will include, but are not limited to, the following :

Master’s Degree in public health or other related field (e.g., population health, epidemiology, biostatistics, demography)

Doctoral degree in a related MEL or public health discipline.

The expected salary range for this position is : $120,000.00 - $140,000.00 annually (U.S. locations only).
